Scent Work Trials: Sept 8-9-10, 2023 FRSWC ALL BREED

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Sadly, we received word that we are no longer able to use Hughes for these trials.  With the late notice we were unable to secure a comparable facility.  (We appreciate everyone who tried to help with that last minute scramble!)  The situation was discussed with AKC and the decision was made with AKC approval to relocate the trials to Matrix Dog (about 10 min from Hughes) versus cancelling completely.  This DOES CHANGE THE CLASSES BEING OFFERED, so PLEASE READ THE UPDATED PREMIUM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING.  We will work with those of you who have already mailed in entries – I will be contacting people as they are received.  We apologize profusely for the inconvenience this is causing everyone and appreciate AKC assistance & everyone else’s assistance in this.  If anyone has suggestions on future trial locations please let us know!

If someone pulls from the trial after pre-entry closing and there is another dog we can move in from the waitlist, the person pulling will receive a refund (see policy in premium) and the dog from the waitlist will move into the trial for the runs that became available. On event day, if there are absent handlers declared prior 7:00am on the day of the trial, waitlisted entries present can be taken to fill those spots. Refunds will be issued within 10 days of the completion of the event.
