AKC ACT 1 and ACT 2 Agility Tests: April 27, 2018

Friday April 27, 2018

Join us Friday April 27 for AKC ACT’s (Agility Course Test)!

These are “pre-novice” agility courses and are a great starting point for agility dogs. You can earn AKC titles, too!
Dogs should be proficient with the obstacles but do not need to be registered with AKC unless you want the titles recorded on your AKC record.

Two rounds of ACT 1 and two rounds of ACT 2 will be offered. Qualifying and title ribbons available! Indoors on mats, climate controlled building.

CONFIRMED:

  • You CAN continue to enter ACT 2 even after earning the ACT 2 title!  (Until the dog has earned a Novice AKC Agility title.)
  • You CAN enter your dog in any jump height.
  • You CAN change jump heights between rounds.

RESULTS:

ACT 1 is an entry level test that is open to all dogs that have not earned a title in any AKC Agility class.  Dogs must have two passing ACT 1 scores in order to earn the ACT 1 title. Both passing scores may be obtained under the same judge/evaluator. To receive the title certificate and have the title added to a dog’s record, the dog must be registered/listed with the AKC.

ACT 2 is the second level Agility Course Test that is open to all dogs that have not earned a title in any AKC Agility class except an ACT 1 title.  Dogs must have two passing ACT 2 scores in order to earn the ACT 2 title. Both passing scores may be obtained under the same judge/evaluator. To receive the title certificate and have the title added to a dog’s record, the dog must be registered/listed with the AKC. The ACT 2 title will supersede the ACT 1 title on a dog’s record.
