Matrix is located in Mead, CO!
The facility is approximately 90’x50′ (4,500 square feet) with a corner cut out for lobby/bathrooms (see layout below). Indoors, matted, and climate controlled! Front door keypad for 24 hour access.
Due to limited parking and the neighboring businesses – classes with multiple dogs, and rentals with dogs that bark must be after 5:00pm during the weekdays. (No time restrictions on weekends!)
Equipment available to rent with space:
- Ring gating including 4’x8′ lattice panels, wooden folding ring gates, and pipe & drape (hanging vendor-type curtain system).
- Barn hunt equipment (straw, rats, boards, tubes, etc.) and gating for 2+ rings.
- Agility equipment (AKC regulation competition grade, with rubberized slatted contacts – full list below) for one full ring.
- Flyball practice and tournament equipment (NAFA) including mats, jumps, slats, backstops, two Premier flyball boxes, and the APES (Automated Passing Equipment System) for two full lanes.
- Obedience equipment (AKC) including high jump, broad jump and bar jump (4′ wide and 5′ wide).
- Tables & chairs.

Drop-In Agility Rental Information
**Sometimes the barn hunt ring is set up in the back right section of the building. Contact us if you want to check on this.
Equipment (AKC regulation): tunnels (15′ and 20′), plastic cup jumps (9) and wings, triple jump, double jump, panel jump, adjustable rubberized dog walk, adjustable rubberized a-frame, rubberized teeter, pause table, 24″ spaced channel weaves, 24″ spaced 2×2 set of weaves, breakaway tire, broad jump.
- Private Ring Rental: $25 for each 30 min of private ring rental. You can run as many dogs as you want, share with your friends, etc. It’s just restricted by time. This option you schedule in advance and it gets reserved on the public calendar (through me) so no one else can use the ring during that time.

- Drop-In Rental: Alternatively, it’s $15 for the first dog and $10 for each additional dog (same family) drop-in rental. This option has no reserved time on the calendar and the possibility someone schedules over you / ends up there sharing the space with you. The only time limit on this slot is you’d have to be done before another class or private rental starts, otherwise you are good until you drive away. 🙂

Dogs must be proficient with equipment or you must know how to properly train your own dog on the equipment. Rental may require an evaluation before permission is granted.

Facility Layout
In the back half of the space, against the right wall is the barn hunt straw/equipment. This is sometimes set up into the space (24’x24′ ring) but can be collapsed for events and certain classes. Contact us for more information.
